Simple Que, is it worth going to college?

The current unemployment rate is about 15% for people with only a high school diploma, and less than 9% for those with a college degree. There are jobs out there, but that's not to say you'll get a good one with any major you pick. If you have a job in mind that requires a degree, and you can get the degree for less overall than you'll make in your first year at the job, then go for it. But don't go to college without a plan for how you'll use the degree you'll get, and don't spend a fortune on any degree.
