Could my ankle be broken?

so about three week ago i was jogging on uneven ground and rolled my ankle. I stepped in a small rut and fell pretty hard. i was in the middle of nowhere in the hills so i had to jog back four miles to my car. when i got home i elevated and iced it. i was able to walk on it but had to limp and put very little weight on it. its been almost four weeks and it is still swollen. I can move it and put weight on it but it pops and the back of my foot and "sprain" area is numb. It has been numb since i fell on it. There was very little bruising. Only for a few days and it was a greenish yellow bruise. It is not as sensitive and doesn't hurt as much but it is taking much longer than i expected. the numbness and swelling is also freaking me out a little. i have not gone to the doctor because i don't have insurance. can anyone tell me if this could be broken or why i might be numb?

I'm guessing it's summer so what you have to do is let your hair breath and relax. Let your hair grow. And if you have to straighten your hair straighten it twice a week and use heat protection so it won't fall out. Put more of hair to the right side so it could look more equal. 5 months ago i broke up with my boyfriend because i wasnt happy and needed time to myself. I moved out of his parents house and back in with my dad. Wow, not great advice from most. I am an aesthetician (facialist) and you DO need to use proper products. Look for a face wash for oily skin (read the label). You then need to use an astringent based toner. Here is the crucial thing. . . YES you do need to use a moisturizer. One that is oil free. PLEASE do not listen to the people who tell you not to moisturize. Here is why. . . if you try to "dry" out your skin, your skin will think it needs to produce more oil (sebum) to compensate. It's sort of like starving your body when you diet and your metabolism shuts down. Opposite of what you want. After doing these 3 things (and NO it does not take an hour, a few extra minutes is all), use a mineral base such as bare minerals.

I have an Injured ankle, any ideas?

I was playing soccer and ended up kicking a guy in the shin guard with my inner ankle. It swelled up right away but I could walk off the field with a limp. I stretched a bit but when I left I had trouble walking on uneven ground. I went to the doctor the next day and he said it was a contusion and should be fine in the next week or so. The past 2 weeks it has improved a lot but ached when I stand still and swelled a lot when I don't have it raised. I has been painfull to press on the bruise and the ankle has been stiff. Today (2 weeks after the injury) the swelling is down quite a bit but still a bit swollen, I can not make a sharp right turn(it is the right ankle) I can put all my weight on th leg (could from the start) I can hit the ankle bone without any pain but if I rub around the bone it is painfull especially the point of impact. Also there is a bruise that is painfull to rub on my inner leg above the ankle. I can not run but can walk almost normal but with a small limp. Also my ankle is still stiff. I can move it in any direction with out pain except inward where it hurts if I go to far. Does anyone know if it may be more than a contusion or how long a contusion may take to heal on the ankle?

Your boobs will even them self's out eventually. In the mean time try different bra sizes and shapes; example: push-up bra. I'm not sure but i think their is a website for a customized bra, if you really need it. If you were on the heavier side before, I'm not really surprised this would happen. The reason bigger women have larger breasts is because of fatty build-up(gross). According to a different body type this process will always work in different ways. For some people, even loosing like five pounds can make them 'change'. The 'girls' will adjust eventually so don't worry about it. It Always works out in the end. i plan to take vocal lessons again in the winter however i was wondering if there was anything i could do over the summer that would help me increase my vocal power. Am I 15 or so weeks pregnant?

Back in march me & my boyfriend decided we wanted a baby. It would be his 2nd. So we tried. I did my research & checked ov days, told him & we went for it.. Waited & as we waited to test I began spotting like a week && a half before my period was due.. Some days it would seem like a regular period & some days it would seem light. It lasted for maybe 3 days & a half. I tested & it was negative. We were disappointed but haven't tried since. In April I began to have what I thought was a period every 3weeks but usually my period is every 28days. I also started having cramps, headaches, crying spells, nausea & dizziness. I took another test still negative. As time past It seem like things got worse, cravings, nausea every time I tried eating, my headaches got worse & they now occur daily. I was weighing 144 & with in the last month I've gained a lot of weight. I'm now 158. My boobs have grown from a 38C to a 40D & my nipples are very tender.. I been having cramps && lower back pains for almost a week. Haven't had any spotting or periods. I can now see my stomach when I look down because its growing past my breast && its always firm sometimes more so in certain places. I'm honestly terrified because I don't know whats going on with me. My boyfriend suggest that I should take a pregnancy test but I feel like it'll just be negative, & I'm not ready to go to the doctor. Does anyone have any words of wisdom? Thanks in advance! OCD with my clothes??? helpp!?

I really feel like i have ocd with my clothing and the clothing that i buy. Whenever i go shopping and buy a clothing item i have to make sure that the stitching and seams are all even and that everything about it feels even when i wear it. when i put on pants i have to make sure that one pant leg is not tighter or loser than the other and same with shorts and jeans. and with shirts if one sleeve is tighter than the other . I just have to make sure everything about the item is made evenly . In the stores i try on the more than one of the same item of the same size just to see which one feels the most even. if i buy something and found out it feels uneven to me when i go home i wont stop thinking about it and i will keep trying it on and will literaly keep thinking about it everytime i wear it of how uneven it feels. When i own clothing that feels uneven to me i will get soooo fustrated about it and will be so upset. i was coming home at approx. 1215 AM and i turned on a road where theres a park and ride at the corner..a cop just happened to be sitting there. he had his lights on and was investigating another vehicle sitting there. as i turned on the road i saw the cop heading back to his cruiser...i made it another 1/2 mile and saw headlights pull out of the park and ride and heading my way..i was almost to my buddies house, but i missed the driveway( it was dark, raining and in the middle of the night) so i pulled off in the next driveway but did not pull all the way in, just far enough so i could turn around..well then im sitting there waiting for the car that was coming to pass...but it happened to be the cop, and as i just sat there, he pulls over and turns his blues on...he comes to the car and does his thing..in the process he asked me if i had an exhaust leak..i said no and that less then 8 hrs prior to this my car was in the shop taking an inspection sticker...i needed exhaust work to take a sticker...i got it fixed and got the sticker...anyway that didnt seem to phase him...he looked by my shifter and saw a roach...he went back to his car for a few moments and returned...he said he needed to do a vehicle search, so he did( as far as i knew, two cops should be present during a vehicle search..well there was only one. but he was a sheriff so i dont know if that makes a difference) anyway he searched and found my stuff.. he then takes the time to write the summon's up, at that time the second sheriff pulled up. he came back had me sign them.. then he has me do a soberiety test...where he made me do one was on a hill, and the road had tons of uneven and cracked spots..after he says im going to be arrested b/c he was under the assumtion i was under the influence. my friend i had with me walked back to his house as i was heading to the police station. my main defense i think is the fact he pulled me over for my exhaust being to loud, but in fact wasnt to loud seeing how if it was, dont you think i wouldnt have been able to get my inspection done? so please read through this, let me know if anything the cop did was lawful/unlawful and if i may have a good chance when fighting this. thank you!!

I rolled my ankle on June 5th, today's the 23rd so its been around 3 weeks? anyway, i got xrays and stuff and was told it was a severe sprain but since i was walking on it 2 weeks later my doctor assumed i was improving. i got put on 3 Tylenol 2 a day about a week ago and now my hip has been hurting for about 4 days. my doctor wanted me to see a foot specialist because he said i have flat feet and thats what caused me to roll it. i'm positive i don't have flat feet, i rolled it in high heels and on a uneven surface so i was basically doomed to roll it. should i go to the foot specialist anyway and tell him about my hip or just skip it? thanks

Most of the recent college grads cannot find job and those who do get job offers, discover that the rate being offered is ridiculously low. For example, I graduated with bachelor of science in mathematics back in 2008. For many many months there was no job that I could find. Then I gave up hunting for job and instead decided to pursue master's in math. When I heard news by the phony Obama circle that "job market is picking up", I started to apply for job. Then I finally got a full time job offer as "energy analyst". I then discovered I am being offered 13.50 an hour only. That is ridiculously low job offer for someone having bachelors in math, computer science, engineering or physics. People make that without any degree working as cashier in store. I questioned why 13.50 an hour only and the recruiter said in an apologetic tone, "this is all we can offer. times are tough". After some more conversation I discovered that it is a "temp" job. Then after some more conversation I discovered that there are no benefits being offered. Then after some more conversation I also discovered that, "training will not be paid. first 4 weeks is training". So he is saying that for the first 160 hours I work free because training is not paid. And then its also a temp job. I thought after 160 free hours, he will just say "its temp job so its over now" and take a lot of work. I refused the offer.

Motorcycle ride seems not so smooth?

I have an 08 Kawasaki Ninja 250r and I am fairly new to riding so I would appreciate an experienced person to let me know if this is a problem or not. While riding my bike on straight a ways at about 45+ mph I noticed the ride isn't perfectly smooth... almost a little bumpy, but the road doesn't appear bumpy or majorly uneven. I also noticed when I pull the clutch and or brake the ride seems to be nice and smooth. Is it normal to experience the a slightly bumpy ride while pulling the throttle? Work experience in motor-sport?

There are absolutely loads of race teams out there, I've just come back from working with the JOTA Britcar team in Spa Belgium, where the F2 races were being held at the same time. Getting work experience with a race team is easy, just call around and ask if you can help out. They won't want you getting in the way while pitting etc but during the build they will let you come around and help out and as they begin to trust your capabilities they may let you help out with more serious work. Getting work experience with F1 is a different kettle of fish though. They are so dedicated to winning and there is so much money involved that they don't want work experience people, they just want experienced people and can afford to pay for the best. Just remember if you do go for work experience, don't stand around on ceremony the whole time, always be proactive, get involved and if there is opportunity to do anything helpful (clean the floor, get the tea, put another coat of wax on the car etc) then ask if you can then do it. There is nothing worse than a work experiencer who sits in the corner doing nothing but getting in the way, they may offer you a low ranking job afterwards if you have been helpful enough which will help you on your CV. With that kind of thing on your CV you will find that courses like the Automotive Engineering course at Birmingham University (one of the best courses in the country for what you want to do) are easier to get onto and it is a solid route into the field that you want to work in. Do maths and physics as at least two of your A-levels, perhaps even going for double maths to make up your third. These are important stages in getting to where you want to get to, oh and try to get on as much as you can with anyone in the field... Hell, I already like you in that you are a kid who seems to know what he wants to do in life. Good luck.

I am a computer engineering student, and I'm studying at a computer college (I would not like to specify the name for privacy) here in the Philippines. I graduated from a science high school here in our province. As many people know, the curriculum in schools like that are more advanced than national high schools'. So I used to experience a slightly "advanced learning", if you know what I mean. Then when our classes have started, the lessons introduced to us were a bit easy than expected. I looked forward for some harder lessons, but what I got are the basic ones. I am kind of disappointed until now and I have nothing else to do but to adapt with the education they give. Besides, I think the essence of college education are those killer essays, brain twisting math problems, etc. but I guess it really depends on your school. My solution is to not just rely on everything that the school will offer, I will challenge myself and push harder for further education. Good thing there's the internet with lots of websites that can help me with their learning resources. And another thing, the reason why I want to challenge myself is to unleash more of my hidden potentials and to be competent.

Should I be freaking out that my pupils are two different sizes?

I went to the emergency room last week and one of the nurses said that my pupils were two different sizes ...which they never had been before. I went there because I'd been having a lot of headaches and stuff (I also have severe anxiety). They did a CT scan and said that there was nothing emergent and that everything looked great with the scan and my blood work. I noticed again this morning that they were uneven, and it's just kind of freaking me out. I understand that doctors know what they're doing, but would a CT scan read something like an aneurysm and stuff? I need to go see my primary care doctor but I can't get in for a couple weeks. I will tell you this. its hard, but thing is if you got into that "prestigious school", it means that you are academically prepared to be at that school. and seriously, everyone fails at least three times during college, but what matters if that you dont give up. but if you are still concerned, then just focus on one class for the summer and try to know everything about it, talk to students who already took the class, talk to that teacher, read the book, and other sources, and while you are studying , try to cut your facebook or yahoo answer time and just focus, and then when you actually get to college, you have one less class to worry about.:) but seriously, dont even stress. college will be the best time of your life and you don't just want to study for the next 4 years.. do you?

Is this good natural makeup for a 9th grader?

Well make sure the concealer really blends in and matches your skin tone or it will look really weird. Also I find it a bit much to put on blush if you don't use powder or foundation. The tinted moisturizer will wipe off very easily so you don't really need much color. If anything use a powdered blush that isn't a light pink color and just dab it on. Also yes I think eyeliner on the bottom is overdoing it. A very thin line on the top is okay but the bottom is a bit much. I never line my bottom line ever and I'm 21. Personally I think it just looks too harsh and fake on people.

-ok so, about three weeks ago, i went to sallys and got 30 vol , bleach . it could be that ovulation is on its way or just finishing but the line has to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive, just keep doing them and see if thel ine gets darker if it stays the same then it could be a sign of a hormonal problem, remember they dont work for everyone so dont be too worried if you dont get a positive it doesnt necessarily mean you havent ovulated it could be that you missed the surge and you do actually ovulate early into your cycle. good luck.

Sweetie, eyebrows aren't meant to be twins they're sisters. Meaning it's ok if they're not perfectly even; as a matter of fact it's better if they aren't. Faces are naturally uneven, to have something identical on both sides of your face would bring out the rest of the unevenness. I think they look good just the way they are ^_^

Is anyone out there regretting having go to graduate school, whether it was that you didn't like graduate school period or whether you thought you picked the wrong program or you regret having gone to graduate school too early? Does anyone out there have a job that isn't particularly related to their graduate degree -- a job you could be doing with just your Bachelor's even though you have a Master's or more? Specifically for any engineers out there, do you have a job and a Master's degree that doesn't really have anything to do with the area you work in? Thanks.

How to get rid of uneven skin, acne, and acne scarring fastt!! :D?

okay so im almost 13, and i don't think i should have this much trouble with my skin, its uneven and i have blotchy red spots on my cheeks chin and nose. the redness is mostly on my nose and cheeks though. so i have about 7 tiny(i mean really tiny but there still there and noticeable) acne scars on my chin. on my nose, i cant even explain its like super red all the time, black and white heads like crazy. and my cheeks are like really red and blotchy. but recently i broke out with a few small pimples on my chin, one good sized one on my left cheek. but then on my right cheek, i got five humongous pimples all in the same area and they hurt super bad. i understand that they hurt because of the pressure from the puss and crap inside the pimple but they are SUPER noticeable and wont even the slightest bit cover up with makeup. i tried the toothpaste method but that just irritated my skin and made the breakout hurt 5x more!! boy do i hate acne! what can i doooooo?????

Why did my skin change so much as a teenager?

almost all through middle school my skin was clear, I had an even skin tone, and it wasn't too oily or too dry, I didn't need to wear any foundation or powder, but as soon as I got to high school my skin tone started getting more red, splotchy and uneven, I got really bad breakouts, I stared getting really oily in my T-zone and flaky dry in the other areas, and now Im super self conscious about my skin. I went to the dermatologist a few months ago and I got prescribed 3 topical creams and so far it got rid of the acne, but there are still a bunch of red spots where all the acne was, so now I have red polka dots all over the sides of my cheeks, and my skin tone is still really uneven! WHEN WIlLL THIS GO AWAY?

I'm having trouble getting pregnant, but I have all the symptoms of being pregnant?

for a long time now my husband and I have been trying for a baby. I have used ov kits, the recommended positions, propping my bottom up for 20 min or more, and having intercourse every other day ( mind you we keep it very enjoyable not just a routine) the every other day thing seems to keep it fun actually lol. But here is the prob. I was supposed to have my period two weeks ago but it came a little early, I'm a 18 day cycle/ some what irregular, it was just ultra light spotting for 3 days. I have already had 3 little boys but I didn't know I was prego with any of them till around 3 mo. I'm having all the symptoms morning sickness, hungry all the time, hot and cold flashes w/ sweats and w/o, my breasts are very sore, I'm really moody, ect. but this has happened before.. I don't show on urine tests just blood tests... any advise?

I need help being a pitcher!?

I'm a left handed pitcher, and I weigh around 102. Im 14, and im sorta ov skinny. When i pitch I normally drop my elbow, and i dont throw 60, or it gets thrown too high. Do i need to gain some weight or is there a way to prevent this from happening? Ive been having a problem with this for a few weeks. If u have any extra advice i would highly appreciate it! also if u have any good workout routines for me please give me some good ideas.

Youre right in some respects he did create us with so many flaws but i think the blame goes both ways. We messed up alot of things by our own doings, but God definitely has some splaining to do for some of the things that happen that purely aint our fault.

VLSI is for who make chips later. Digital signal processing can be an elective, which will come close to your desire. SOmetimes though what specialisation you take is immaterial as you will have to specialise in what you do. M Tech may be a proof to say that you have the grit to specialise. Once that is proven, you can on your own specialise in amny associated fileds. To be doing microprocessor work, a BE may be adequate. You may see data sheets of some micro's from ATMEL and Renesas to judge for yourself.

Any idea what's wrong with my moped/scooter?

My moped just stopped running out of nowhere. I hit a bump in the road and it died as if I had no gas. The thing is I did have gas and I even filled it up to assure gas wasn't the issue. You will need to see a doctor if you are too twisted they may put you in a brace but don't worry I'm pretty crooked but they haven't braced me. They just told me to try to stand up straight.

anything really. if you're a smoker or a coffee drinker...those are big factors. also if you're not cosisstant with brushing your teeth. i recommend using like whitening strips from walgreens or something. the 5 minute ones reeeeally help me, but they're also temporary so they dont damage your teeth.

Building plans with uneven walls? And different wall thickness?

I am trying to draw up building plans of my house for a building permit. But when I measure out the lengths of my walls the ones parallel to each other are not the same size by several inches. So I am assuming they are not build on perfect 90 degree angles. Also my interior walls are not the same width through out the house. Some are 5" and some are 3". Now when I look at building plan examples the interior wall are uniform width and have 90 degree angles. So my question is should I draw my plans with uniform walls in width and angles; while labeling the walls with the actual lengths even though they might not equal the same?
