I have uneven tan on my arms?

a few years back I went to india on holiday and because I would wear t shirts in the hot weather I have an uneven tan. My forearms are much darker than the rest of my body. It's been like this for a few years because I mostly wear t shirts. But does anyone know how i can get my forearms back to the natural colour
