Is my boyfriend wrong to act this way?

Me and my bf/huby - its complicated- are at uni and hes kind ov a mix between traditional (men being breadwinners) and modern- me going to work. He knew from the begining i wanted to study and work but he somehow still gets weird about it. So recently iv applied for this thing which i get paid for n he dnt have a job but he was soo moody and horrible wen i got it sayin im tryin to be the 1 who earns more ect.. Its totally ridicilus cuz he cant b assed to get a job himself... Hes ok with it now but he hates me talkin about it which sucks cuz i love it and find it so interesting and i cant talk to him about it but aint that the whole point ov marraige? To talk to them and share ur life with them?
